Help with CMPSCI 121

  • Last semester CMPSCI 121 students benefitted greatly from the Learning Resources Center on the 10th floor of the main library. Support hours will be listed at http://www.umass.edu/lrc/
  • Form a study group of other students in CMPSCI 121. Get to know other students in the lecture and your discussion section. Be sure, however, to carefully follow the rules of collaboration and no-collaboration and academic honesty.
  • The CMPSCI121 bulletin board at http://bb-edlab.cs.umass.edu/cs121_S09. Ask questions and get answers online. The instructor and TAs will monitor the board and answer questions. Of course, you can also see what questions others have asked, and their answers. Students are also encouraged to answer each other's questions (within the bounds of the collaboration policy mentioned above.) You may be asked for a user name and password when trying to access the bulletin board site. For this, use username cs121, password elM121cs. You will also need to create an account on the board itself in order to post; your name and password can be whatever you'd like for this.
  • TA office hours are listed on the weekly schedule.
